Hello!  Thank you for visiting my web page.  A little bit about me.... This is my 10th year teaching at Anasazi.  I taught for 2 years in first grade, then 6 years in kindergarten, and this is my 2nd year back in first grade!  I really enjoy teaching the younger kids.  I am originally from Iowa, but have been in Arizona now for 22 years.  I graduated from Chaparral High School; received my BA in Communications at the U of A; received my Post-Bac in Elementary Education for University of Phoenix and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from U o P as well.  I am a single mom, raising my 12 year old son, Kadin, who is now in middle school.  I love to write poetry, go to movies, create designs for t-shirts and use graphics with computer programs, participate in and be a spectator of sports (especially football!), and am a big WILDCAT fan!   I enjoy my summers off visiting friends and family in Iowa and take an ocassional trip to the beaches of southern California.
