Hello and thanks for visiting my web page.
A little bit about me.... this is my 12th year teaching at Anasazi (6 in kindergarten, 6 in first grade). I have a 14 year-old, Kadin, who will be attending Desert Mountain High School as freshman this fall. I am a single mom, and I love it! I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 nephews and 1 niece, and am blessed to have my mom and my dad and all but my little sister live here in the valley. I am originally from Iowa, born and raised on a farm! Moved to Arizona 20+ years ago, attended high school at Chaparral, and college at University of Arizona. Yes... I am a WILDCAT!!! After having Kadin, I went back to school the University of Phoenix to receive my post-bac in Elementary Education, and later received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from UoP as well. I love sports (especially football), like to hike, bike, run/walk, swim, go to movies, play games (Scrabble and Farkle are favs), spend time with friends, family and take time to travel and relax now and then! My philosophy on life is to live each day to the fullest and never regret anything that made me smile! | |
